Bishop Franklin was called to the ministry at an early age.  He was licensed in 1976 at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church by the late Pastor W. G. Daniels.  And later in 1999 he was ordained at the Church of Philadelphia by the late Pastor Dr. Gregory Spencer where he served as the Pastor of Care.  Since answering the call, he has served as an Associate Minister or an Assistant Pastor at several churches throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  He also was the founder and pastor of The Worship and Word Center. Pastor Franklin served as an Associate Minister at Ben Washington Baptist Church where he was endowed with the Minister of the Year Award in 2005 shortly after becoming a part of this ministry.  He was a dedicated member of the ministerial staff and was an assistant to the late Pastor Dr. Joseph R. Sheppard.  He later served as the Minister of Evangelism at Central Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Brett Ballard.   Currently, Bishop Franklin serves as the visionary and founding pastor of Kingdom Vision Church Ministries. Bishop Franklin is a true example of a man chosen by God.  He not only has a heart for God, but he also has a heart for God’s people.
